The head of the Communist Party faction in the Moscow City Duma Nikolay Zubrilin (pictured) was surrounded by police officers and taken to the Department of Internal Affairs, said Nikita Popov, a member of the election headquarters of the Moscow City Party Committee.

He clarified that Zubrilin left the building of the Moscow city party committee together with the elected State Duma deputy Sergey Obukhov, as well as the head of the protest department of the Moscow City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Pavel Ivanov.

"He (Zubrilin - ed.) And the deputies went to Petrovka, 38 (the address of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow - ed.), At the entrance to which Ivanov and Zubrilin were surrounded by 7-8 policemen and taken both of them to the Tverskoye police station", - Popov pointed out.

According to him, law enforcement officers did not explain the reason for the detention of the communists.

It should be noted that the head of the Moscow branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Valery Rashkin, the deputy of the Moscow City Duma from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Yekaterina Yengalycheva, and also the representative of the party Pavel Ivanov are threatened with responsibility for calls for a rally of those who disagree with the results of voting in the elections to the State Duma.
