He clarified that Zubrilin left the building of the Moscow city party committee together with the elected State Duma deputy Sergey Obukhov, as well as the head of the protest department of the Moscow City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Pavel Ivanov.

And the deputies went to Petrovka, 38 (the address of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow - ed.), At the entrance to which Ivanov and Zubrilin were surrounded by 7-8 policemen and taken both of them to the Tverskoye police station", - Popov pointed out.

According to him, law enforcement officers did not explain the reason for the detention of the communists.
