The suspect in the murder of female students in the Orenburg region pleaded guilty

The day before, Lazarev gave his first testimony, in which he assured that at the time of the crime he "did not know what he was doing." According to his mother, Lazarev actually has mental problems, and nine years in the colony did not pass without a trace for him. He was first convicted at the age of 20 - for murder. Lazarev was released ahead of schedule for exemplary behavior.

On September 30, the bodies of three students of a medical college, 17, 18 and 19 years old, were found in a burnt down apartment in Gai, Orenburg region. All three were stabbed to death with a knife, which was later discovered near the crime scene. The girls came to study from Bashkiria. Investigators questioned over one hundred witnesses.
