For more than two weeks now, the whole country has been discussing the results of the 2021 elections to the eighth State Duma. Unfortunately, public opinion agrees that the Communist Party has blown the elections clean. And the reasons for the failure of the 2021 elections are not immediate.

Yuri Voronin, member of the CPSU-Communist Party of the Russian Federation since 1966, Doctor of Economics

They are a consequence the long-term fall of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation into a niche party, covered with a blanket of Zyuganov's opportunism of a new type.

On the eve of the Congress, in an open letter to the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation G. Zyuganov, the reasons for the slide of the party and its leaders into an unfavorable image of "imaginary opposition" were revealed, which contribute to its consolidation in the role of a niche, parliamentary party, the transformation of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation into a business project for the leaders of the party, a party built into the government and comparing its political steps with the Kremlin. This has an extremely negative effect on the elections to the State Duma.

The reasons for the failure of the 2021 elections include, first of all:

- acute ideological hunger, when the socialist niche of the Communist Party, the formation of a society of social justice is more actively developed other parties and movements do it much more successfully than the Communist Party of the Russian Federation;

- qualitative changes in the essence and an increase in the role of the proletariat, the working class, the working peasantry and the intelligentsia in the context of a profound change in technology and organization of production, which the leaders of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation have not yet understood. This was caught even by the current leader of the oligarchic regime V. Putin, who recently announced that it is the working class that is the main political force in the Russian Federation;

- the failure of the nationwide "reforms": "denomination" of benefits - replacement of benefits with monetary compensation, "reform" of health care; anti-constitutional pension "reform", which became for the majority of citizens an outright confiscation of money;

- the adoption of constitutional amendments and the destruction of the last checks for the presidential power.

No real attempt in the last 20 years implementation of the loud statements of G. Zyuganov - "we do not agree with the destructive course of the authorities", "we are for the people", "we proposed to hold a referendum so that the bowels of the earth would work for all citizens", “We proposed to hold a referendum on pension reform”, “we prepared the law“ Education for All ”,“ we introduced the law on children of war seven times - it just wasn't; there were none in the form of a protest movement; loud words remain words. People see this and gradually turn away from the Communist Party, vote for the Communists out of despair, protestingly.

The two-faced position of the leaders of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, which is increasingly despised by ordinary communists, directly prevents the Communist Party of the Russian Federation from building up support for the overwhelming mass of Russians, and is destroying the party from within. It is extremely unpleasant and offensive for the communists to read in the media that "Zyuganov, over 30 years of leadership, has turned the Communist Party of the Russian Federation into an artificial protest against the current government."

The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, in particular, was asked “in the current difficult political and socio-economic situation in Russia, to voluntarily write a letter of resignation from the post of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and not to be nominated as party leader at the April Congress of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. This wise, patriotic step on the eve of the elections to the State Duma, - emphasized in the open letter, - will be positively assessed not only by the communists, but also by all supporters of the true left opposition and will really ensure the victory of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in the elections.

Unfortunately, G. Zyuganov did not heed this mild wish.

All these components, which failed for the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, were clearly revealed in the elections-2021. The analysis shows that the election campaign was rather sluggish. It was significantly strengthened only by the most active inclusion in the election campaign of the Movement For New Socialism and personally its leader N.N. Platoshkin.

The amorphously formulated goal of the Communist Party's participation in the elections to the State Duma at the XYIII pre-election congress of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation - "... in the elections of 21 years to implement the plan of peaceful and democratic return of power and property to the people", to achieve "victory", without decoding the qualitative and quantitative essence of it, - did not allow the party to clearly set tasks for regional and primary party organizations, became very vague not only for ordinary communists, not only for young people and the intelligentsia, but also for the majority of the people.

Apparently, the leaders of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, like V.I. Lenin was one of the leaders of the Communist Parties who dream of conquering power by elective means, orienting themselves towards bourgeois parliamentarism, bourgeois democracy, forgetting that universal suffrage, as long as the property of the capitalist oligarchs is preserved, is one of the tools of the bourgeois state. And it will always shoot against those who want to take power from the oligarchs. I have to remind you:

“Only scoundrels or fools can think that the proletariat must first win the majority in elections carried out under the yoke of the bourgeoisie, under the yoke of wage slavery, and then must win power. This is the height of stupidity or hypocrisy, this is the replacement of the class struggle and revolution with votes under the old system, under the old regime".

No one doubts that the elections were definitely rigged in favor of United Russia, especially in single-mandate constituencies. In these conditions, the hypocritical exclamations of the leaders of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation that the party won the elections, took second place, and won a "moral and political victory" sound especially euphoric.

Unfortunately, the election results did not become "very successful" (as defined by G. Zyuganov), not the "best result of the party" was obtained (the head of the central headquarters for the elections - the first deputy chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation I. Melnikov), the elections did not show "a large increase in support for the communists Russian society "(First Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Yu. Afonin), and, according to the majority of political experts, - became a clear defeat for the opposition party. This was the result of an ideologically flawed position formed over twenty years by the opportunist leadership of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation: the main thing is not to win, the main thing is to participate and enter the new parliament.

Assessing the results of the 2021 elections, the leaders of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation continue to convince of a "moral and political victory" “Winning second place in the Duma”, that “practically the whole country supported us in these elections”, “our program received universal approval and today our forces have tripled”. Miracles, and nothing more. And this is said by the leaders of the alleged opposition party.

Many regional organizations of the party declared non-recognition of the election results. These are, for example, Moscow, Buryatia, Irkutsk, Kostroma, Bryansk regions, the Republic of North Ossetia, more than 20 regional organizations of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation sent documents to the courts declaring the elections invalid. 31 lawsuits were filed with the Presnensky Court of Moscow demanding to cancel the results of remote electronic voting in the elections to the State Duma in Moscow. The Yabloko party refused to recognize the voting results. Mass rallies of protest against the violation of the law and justice, against the final destruction of democracy, against falsification of elections, against electronic voting are being held in Moscow and other regions of the country.

If the grassroots party organizations step up the fight for the return of the "stolen" votes, the cancellation of the results of the shameful elections-2021 day by day, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation G. Zyuganov and his closest opportunistic entourage wagged, began to drain the elections.

On Saturday, September 25, when thousands of Muscovites and guests of the capital came to Pushkinskaya Square to meet with deputies and candidates for the State Duma from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation to protest against the lawlessness perpetrated by the authorities in the 2021 elections, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, G. Zyuganov, ignored her. It turned out to be more important for him to meet not with the people, but with the leader of United Russia.

Apparently, the leader of the Communist Party G. Zyuganov forgot that the course of the oligarchic regime and the United Russia party to "strengthen the country" is disastrous for Russia. The country has long since fallen into the Greatest Russian Depression. For 30 years, the economy of the once Great Power has practically been destroyed.

But the worst thing is the sharp drop in living standards. Overcoming poverty as a goal that V. Putin formulated at a meeting with the leaders of the Duma factions on September 25, he put forward back in 2012. However, over the past years, this goal has not only not been realized, but the situation has become even more aggravated. In terms of wages in real terms, Russians did not reach the level of 1990, that is, they lagged behind themselves by 30 years. B Jednosci today covers about 30% of the population, and half of them live very poorly.

There is no doubt that a huge share of the blame for the failure of the 2021 elections lies not only with the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation G. Zyuganov. This is a collective failure. A huge share of the blame for this failure lies with the members of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, personally responsible for specific areas: at the First Deputy of the Central Committee of the Communist Party - the head of the central headquarters for elections I. Melnikov; First Deputy of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation - responsible for the organizational work Y. Afonina; Novikov, secretary of the Communist Party Central Committee for ideological work; Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party - the head of the central headquarters of the protest movement V. Kashin.

At this critical moment for the party, an acute request arose for a fundamental renewal of the leadership of the Communist Party, the need to change not only the leader of the Communist Party, but and his opportunistic entourage. A healthy part of the members of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the whole society hopes for a positive solution to the issue at the upcoming enlarged Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on October 23.

The program of the party also requires improvement, which should focus on a broader base of political support for the masses and closer association with the N.N. Platoshkin "For a new socialism".

As for the new party leader, he undoubtedly must have experience in organizational, party and economic work at the federal and regional levels, the necessary intellectual and psychological potential that would allow him to solve the urgent political tasks facing the Communist Party of the Russian Federation to mobilize workers to build a more effective social oriented society on a socialist basis.

The last word belongs to the rank and file communists.
