In the Primorsky Territory, the sailing ship Selena, 28 miles from the Nakhodka Bay, lost its speed. The yacht with a broken engine and mast was towed to the shore.

"Marine Rescue Coordination Center Vladivostok sent the rescue vessel Lazurit of the Primorsky branch of the Marine Rescue Service and two vessels located in the disaster area of the sailing vessel - the Sakhalin Island tanker and the fishing vessel Karatayevo to the damaged vessel, - Nikolai Pirozhkov, head of the Vladivostok Marine Rescue and Coordination Center", - told TASS...

At 9:42 am local time (2:42 Moscow time), the tanker visually detected the yacht, and a little over half an hour later the fishing vessel had already approached the Selena.

It is clarified that the condition of all three crew members is normal, they did not need medical assistance.

The yacht was towed to Askold Island.

It's worth reminding that in July, eight teenagers on yachts were nearly carried away to the Gulf of Finland due to the onset of bad weather. Rescuers managed to intercept the yachts when they were carried more than 300 meters from the shore.
