68% of Russian Internet users experienced malfunctions in messengers and social networks on October 4. The Russians were most upset by the problems with WhatsApp and Instagram.

This is reported by RBC, referring to the SuperJob study.

Analysts indicated that every ninth respondent was pleased with the "fallen" services.

60% of users lacked WhatsApp more than other services, Instagram - 29%.

17% of the employed survey participants noted that the failure prevented them from performing their work duties. 7% said that the collapse of social networks did not affect their work in any way.

It's worth reminding that on October 4, Facebook stopped providing information about the route to its servers, which caused a load on the DNS 30 times more than usual. As a result, the social network itself, as well as Instagram, WhatsApp, and other resources stopped working for more than six hours. Simultaneously with the information about the global outage, it became known about the largest data breach of one and a half billion Facebook users. However, the company indicated that it has no evidence of a connection between the leak and the failure.
