Police in Dagestan detained a ninth grade student at Makhachkala School No. 51, who stabbed a classmate with a knife. The victim died due to the inflicted wounds.

As reported by TASS with reference to the statement of the head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan, Gayana Garieva, the incident occurred right on the territory of the educational institution.

“In one of the Makhachkala schools, a student stabbed another student. The victim died in the hospital”, - she said.

The raider was taken to the Kirovsky regional police department. Security officials are investigating the circumstances of the incident. The publication notes that the victim and the victim are classmates, both studied in the ninth grade of school number 51.

According to the current legislation, criminal responsibility for committing serious crimes, which, in particular, include murder and infliction of grievous bodily harm, which resulted in the death of a victim, in Russia begins from the age of 14.

On the fact of the murder of a minor, a criminal case was opened in the UK under Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to the UK, the student is deadly wounded stabbed by a classmate during a fight.

The department said that during the investigation, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of officials from among the school's management, as well as the person who sold the can of gaseous substance to minors. The leadership of the Investigative Directorate and an investigative group from among the employees of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for Dagestan left for the place of the emergency.

Earlier in Moscow, three young Dagestanis were detained who brutally beat a man in the metro after he tried to intercede for a girl whom the visitors began to insult.
