35% of Russians who received offers to submit biometric data outside of the context of passports and visas agreed to submit them, 44% refused to take biometrics, and 21% were undecided.

Such data follows from a survey of the service for squeaking work and SuperJob personnel, the results of which are cited by RIA Novosti.

Analysts point out that only every eighth participant in the study received such an offer to pass biometrics.

"If we do not take into account the situation with obtaining passports and visas, only 13% of respondents reported that they had the opportunity to submit such information... Every third Russian who received offers to submit biometric data agreed to this procedure (35%)", - noted survey authors.

It's worth reminding that a quarter of Russians are going to refuse to use the portal of public services due to the need to take biometrics.

In the meantime, the authorities intend to introduce biometrics for more and more processes. For example, the Ministry of Digital Science proposed to use it in exams in universities. And by 2024, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation expects to introduce a biometric passenger identification system in air, rail and public transport.
