"Mikhail Petrovich Sivtsev was relieved of his post as Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) on his own initiative", -said the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolayev.
Earlier it was reported that Sivtsev terminated the contract with Pavlov due to the fact that he refused to transfer the building of the MAN dormitory to accommodate those infected with the coronavirus. At the same time, the Ministry of Education of Yakutia clarified that there was no order to dismiss Pavlov. Nikolayev later canceled "the entire decision on Pavlov", and reprimanded the minister for violating the Labor Code.
For his part, Sivtsev said that making public the "working moments" is "wrong behavior".
It's worth to note that in Yakutia, as in a number of Russian regions, the situation with coronavirus is deteriorating. There is a daily increase in the number of new cases of COVID-10. Over the past day, 245 new cases have been registered in the republic. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Yakutia, 56,877 people have been infected with covid. 1302 patients died.
