"Almost 30% of the monthly rainfall fell in the city. The data were received at 6:00 from the main meteorological station in Moscow at VDNKh (the Russian acronym for the All-Union Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy - editor's note)", - Interfax quotes the words of a representative of the capital's meteorological office.

The interlocutor of the agency specified that 199 precipitation fell in the city over the past 24 hours - almost 32% of the monthly norm in October (the norm is 59 mm).

Only by noon Friday the rains in the city should stop.

Recall that at the end of September, long showers also fell on Moscow. For example, on the night of September 19, half of the monthly norm of precipitation was spilled on the capital. The southern Black Sea cyclone became the cause of bad weather with torrential rains and strong gusty winds in the capital region.
