Federal Antimonopoly Servi will toughen punishment for businesses for non-compliance with instructions

Changes will be made to article 19.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Failure to comply in time with a legal order (resolution, presentation, decision) of a body (official) exercising state supervision (control), an organization authorized in accordance with federal laws to exercise state supervision (official) , the body (official) exercising municipal control), Izvestia reports. Currently, the sanctions under this article provide for a fine of 500 thousand rubles for entrepreneurs who do not comply with the instructions and decisions of the FAS within a certain period.

At the same time, the service noted that the fine should not exceed 1/50 of the total revenue of the organization for the past year.

The FAS proposals will be considered on October 19 at the working group on the regulatory guillotine for the development of competition.

We would like to remind that last month the FAS demanded to lower prices for products in the Pyaterochka grocery and Magnit chains in the Moscow region, which occupied a dominant position in some districts of the region. Wheat flour, bread, chicken and pork were included in the list of excessively risen prices.
