State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Valery Rashkin refused to undergo a medical examination after he was caught illegal hunting in the Saratov region.

According to the telegram channel Baza, the parliamentarian was stopped at Lada Largus. There was a moose carcass in the car. The deputy assured the law enforcement officers that he did not kill the animal, but found it already dead. Then he and a friend decided to take the elk for themselves.

At the same time, Rashkin recognized his actions as illegal. He could face a criminal case on illegal hunting.

Law enforcement officials claim that the deputy was drunk while driving a car. They indicated that they were able to determine this even without an examination, which the parliamentarian refused, since Rashkin smelled strongly of alcohol.

As specified in the telegram channel of the political scientist Sergey Karnaukhov, the incident took place on the night of October 29 in the Lysogorsky district of the region.

According to RIA Novosti, in the Saratov region, after the discovery of an elk carcass, an ax and two knives in the car of a citizen born in 1955 (note that Valery Rashkin was born on March 14, 1955), a criminal case was opened under the article on illegal hunting with causing major damage. Police arrived at the scene following reports of gunfire. An administrative protocol was drawn up against the driver who refused to undergo a medical examination.

The charges brought against him are expected to be punishable by two years in prison.

It is noteworthy that the weapon from which the moose was killed was not found. he was not found in Valery Rashkin's car. The parliamentarian also did not have permission to hunt.
