According to information from TK Mash , there were 7 people on board the An-12 that crashed near Irkutsk. Previously, only two dead pilots were reported. Then an Interfax source said that everyone had died.

The aircraft ignites on an area of 10 squares, fuel - on 300 squares. 46 rescuers and 17 pieces of equipment are working on site.

The interlocutor of TASS from the local aviation services said that a piloting error is being considered as one of the versions: the crew could have missed the runway and tried to go around. Also considered is a technical malfunction of the aircraft, or engine failure due to a collision with birds.

The An-12 aircraft of the Belarusian airline "Grodno" performed the flight Anadyr - Yakutsk - Irkutsk. The aircraft was returning to the home airport after transporting food to Chukotka.
