The traffic police announced massive raids during holidays and non-working days in November. The service staff will identify drunk drivers on the roads.

"During the November holidays and non-working days, it is planned to carry out mass checks and special operations aimed at preventing various violations of traffic rules, including the suppression of driving by drivers in a state of intoxication", - said in the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation .

Recall that a drunk driving driver can be deprived of his license for up to two years and fined 30 thousand rubles, and for a repeated violation, the driver will receive a criminal article.

The department also pointed out that in a difficult sanitary and epidemiological situation, all trips by personal transport "should be carried out only in case of emergency." Since the beginning of the year, about 40 thousand mass checks have passed in the country, during which over 42 thousand drivers were caught with signs of intoxication.
