On November 3, in Moscow, the level of pollutants in the air almost doubled - in the Novokosino area, an excess was recorded by 1.82 times. Muscovites have complained 136 times about smoke and burning smell over the past day, November 2.

This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the words of representatives of emergency services. Complaints about smoke and the smell of burning in the air caused a heavy fog that enveloped the Moscow region. About three dozen thermal points per day were identified in the Moscow region. In Moscow and Lyublino recorded an excess of MPC for carbon oxides in the air by 4%.

Many Muscovites believed that the fog that enveloped the city and the region was provoked by harmful chemical emissions in the industrial zone of the Novomoskovsk administrative district. However, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, called the phenomenon that worried Muscovites "radiation fog" that has nothing to do with radioactivity.

Let us remind you that a thick fog came to Moscow on the evening of November 1. Due to the deterioration of visibility at airports, about 150 flights were delayed , about 30 aircraft were forced to leave for alternate airfields. The traffic police warned drivers about the dangers of driving at such low visibility and advised motorists not to drive until the smog dissipated.
