In the city of Obluchye of the Jewish Autonomous Region, all 15 ambulance employees wrote letters of resignation, refusing to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

"They warned that they would write letters of resignation. All 15 and wrote. While they are working, until November 15. And then I don’t know how to get out of the situation. I, as an employer, will remain guilty anyway. Fire - the ambulance will remain uncovered. If I leave, I will be fined. A week ago I went to them, talked. They said they would not (be vaccinated). They all work part-time there in a covid hospital. Not a single one has yet fallen ill. And they say we don't want to. In Birobidzhan, more than 90% of employees have already taken root", - reports the EAOMedia edition of the words of the head physician of the SMP station Vladislav Kogan.

The regional government's health department posted Kogan's statement on its Instagram page, in which he claims that the incident will not affect the work of the ambulance.

"Now five ambulance teams are involved in the district. Plus, emergency teams deployed at hospitals. Even if all the employees who wrote their resignation letters really quit, the city will not be left without medical assistance", - said the doctor.

Recall that the head of the Rospotrebnadzor Department for the Jewish Autonomous Region Pavel Kopylov signed a decree "On immunization against a new coronavirus infection." According to the document, a number of categories of citizens must be vaccinated, including healthcare workers. In case of refusal, the heads of regional institutions and enterprises are required to suspend or transfer to remote work.

On November 3, 47 people became infected with the coronavirus in the Jewish Autonomous Region. One death related to infection was recorded. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 9,285 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the region, and 295 people have died from the disease.

Meanwhile, in the neighboring Khabarovsk Territory, coal is being played among the vaccinated.
