Aeroflot was threatened with sanctions due to crisis on the border of Belarus

According to Blomberg, referring to a European official who is aware of the plans to impose sanctions, in addition to Aeroflot, Turkish Turkish Airlines may fall under the restrictions. New sanctions may also be announced by the United States and Great Britain at the beginning of December.

According to the source of RBC, Aeroflot does not fly to those countries, which usually receive a flow of refugees. The carrier from the Middle East has only Egypt, Israel, Iran and the Emirates. It should be noted that from 12 to 15 thousand refugees may currently be on the territory of Belarus, said Stanislav Zharyn, a representative of the Polish special services. These are mainly Kurds, and their population is mainly located in Syria, Iraq, Iran, Turkey.

It is likely that Belarus stimulated the flow of migrants. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, Ivan Kurbakov, stated that migrants arrive in Minsk legally, no violations of the law were noticed. In addition, until the middle of last month, citizens of Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Iran and Nigeria had the opportunity to obtain a Belarusian visa right at the Minsk airport.
