A squad of rescuers disappeared during the evacuation at the Listvyazhnaya mine

According to Interfax, referring to its source, the rescuers are equipped with an oxygen system, and "there is a hope that they will come to the surface" on their own.

The information on the loss of the link was confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"At about 15:00, the department of mine rescuers, who were conducting a rescue operation at a distant line, stopped communicating. Organized their searches", - indicated in the department.

As a reminder, today 11 people died during the smoke at the Listvyazhnaya mine. In addition, the rescuers did not manage to find 35 people who remained underground.

On the fact of the death of the miners in the UK, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Art. 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities, resulting in the death of a person by negligence).

The authorities of the Kemerovo region have declared three days of mourning in the region in connection with the tragedy.
