On Friday, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived at the logistics center on the Belarusian-Polish border, where refugees from the Middle East were temporarily accommodated. He assessed the living conditions of migrants, talked with representatives of the Red Cross.

This was reported by the press service of the Belarusian president.

As noted by the local news agency BelTA, the Belarusian president at this meeting called on Germany to take migrants out of the country. The President stressed that the majority of migrants go to Germany in order to reunite with their families already in this country.

"This is not a big burden for Germany", - the president stressed.

According to the Belarusian president, the Polish authorities "staged a massacre" on the border in order to divert people's attention from the country's internal problems. The Belarusian president appealed to the inhabitants of Poland with a request to bring the local authorities to their senses.

It's worth reminding that the situation on the border of the two countries escalated on November 8, when thousands of migrants headed to the country's border with Poland, intending to cross it. An attempt to enter the country illegally was stopped by Polish border guards. Refugees set up a spontaneous camp at the border. Since then, they have made several more attempts to break through to Europe.

The Polish authorities accuse the Belarusian special services of helping migrants at the border. The Belarusian authorities have denied these allegations. At the same time, the country's authorities admitted that after the economic sanctions Belarus had neither the strength nor the means to restrain migration to Europe.
