As an example, she cited the fire that occurred at the SDS-Ugol mine shortly before the tragedy in which her husband died. This fire was not known to the media. Then the miners themselves managed to put out the fire. According to the widow, even Rospotrebnadzor came and carried out an inspection.
“This methane has gone off scale for a long time. My husband was a lead man, there was a sensor on his chest. He says that the sensor beeps, he wet it with water so that it does not beep. And they worked further", - she told RIA Novosti.
The widow's words were confirmed by the wife of another deceased miner in this mine. She noted that there were problems with safety at the mine for a long time, but they were not covered in the media in any way. According to her, her husband told her many times about problems with ventilation, interruptions and smoke. “Recently there was such a strong smoke that everyone was sent home”, - she told REN TV.
It's worth reminding that a methane release at the Listvyazhnaya mine occurred on November 25 in Belovo, Kemerovo Region. 52 miners and a rescuer were killed. Another 63 people were injured. The employees of the Investigative Committee detained the director of the mine, his deputy and the head of the section.
