"We all understood that Crimea is de facto the Russian Crimea. After the referendum, de jure Crimea became Russian", - RIA Novosti quotes Lukashenko words.
The President of Belarus indicated that this is “his Crimea”, and he has the right to visit it.
"My visit to Crimea, to which I have every right, under whose protectorate he is there, the leadership and whoever is Crimea. This is my Crimea. We have a certain agreement with Putin that we will stay in Crimea", - said the head of the republic.
It's worth reminding that Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014, during which 96.77% of Crimean voters and 95.6% of Sevastopol residents spoke in favor of joining the Russian Federation.
Ukraine continues to insist that the peninsula belongs to it. She calls Crimea a temporarily occupied territory.
