Three Russian military transport aircraft Il-76 of the Russian Defense Ministry landed in the capital of Afghanistan - Kabul - to evacuate citizens. In addition, they delivered 36 tons of humanitarian aid.

According to the RF Ministry of Defense, a medical team with equipment and medicines also arrived on each of the aircraft to provide the necessary assistance to the evacuees.

This is the third stage of the evacuation from the territory of Afghanistan. This time, over 380 Russians, citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Afghan students who study at Russian universities will be removed from the Middle East country. The evacuation was organized on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin by Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.

As a reminder, 380 people were also taken out by Russian planes from Kabul on November 18. Among the evacuees were citizens of Russia and the CSTO member states (Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia), as well as Ukraine and Afghanistan.

Let us remind you that representatives of the Taliban * movement seized power in Afghanistan in mid-August. They announced the end of the 20-year war and the beginning of the formation of a new government.
