New certificates for COVID-19 patients are being issued for a year

Aleksey Kuznetsov, Assistant to the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, today, on December 2, said that all new certificates for those who have had COVID-19 are being issued for a year from the moment of recovery.

He also announced the extension of the documents issued earlier. Prior to that, certificates were issued for 6 months.

"The validity period of the certificate of the transferred COVID-19 is now a year from the date of recovery", - RIA Novosti quotes the assistant minister.

He also noted that the documents issued earlier are being extended. According to Kuznetsov, all the necessary decisions have been made. “This is a purely technical procedure, it will be completed in the near future. All the necessary decisions have been made", - Kuznetsov assured.

Earlier, the Minister of Health of the country, Mikhail Murashko, announced the extension of the certificates of those who had had coronavirus up to a year.
