“On the territory of Detention Center-1 (SIZO-1; 11/25/2021) and IK-27 (12/03/2021), employees of the GOU FSIN, Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service, FSB and the Investigative Committee carried out joint special operations to suppress extremist activities in the institutions of persons identified by operational officers of the GOU FSIN, Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service (GUFSIN) and FSB", - says on the website of the department.
The report states that the prisoners "were involved in organizing the AUE* movement banned in Russia and occupying the highest position in the criminal hierarchy". The persons against whom the special operation was carried out, according to the FSIN release, forced other convicts to follow “thieves' notions and laws”, carry out telephone fraud, extorted money from them and formed a “common fund”, organized gambling.
It is said that "these persons" resisted and obstructed the Federal Penitentiary Service of RF officers. They were taken to other institutions, a criminal case was opened on organizing the activities of an extremist organization.
The TV channel "Rain"*, referring to human rights projects Gulagu.net, reports that in the course of special operation Federal Penitentiary Service of RF beat 150 people and one was raped. One convict was killed after the use of flash-noise grenades and special equipment. Human rights activists published a photo of a leg with a hematoma, claiming that it was taken in a colony in Primorye.
