This was stated by Tatyana Ruzhentsova, deputy director for clinical work of the Moscow Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights), in an interview with RIA Novosti.
She also added typical "coronavirus" symptoms to the list of symptoms - for example, lung damage.
Earlier, British scientists identified an "unusual" rash as a symptom of "Omicron" in children.
At the same time, biologist Irina Yakutenko believes that today no existing vaccine can cope with Omicron.
