Fraudsters in Moscow deceived the professor for seven million rubles

A law enforcement source told RIA Novosti about the appeal of Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Tatyana Grishina, who reported fraud.

“In a little more than a week, the professor collected loans in the amount of 7.34 million rubles - she transferred the entire amount to the attackers”, - RIA Novosti reports.

The attackers called the victim at the end of November, posing as police officers who are conducting a "special operation to catch fraudsters" trying to get a loan for her. Later there was another call: the scammers introduced themselves as FSB officers and persuaded Grishina to go to the bank, apply for a loan in the amount of more than 3 million rubles, and transfer money to them.

A few days later, another call followed, after which the victim again went to the bank and applied for another loan.

“The day after she transferred the last tranche, the woman realized that she had become a victim of fraudsters and went to the police. A criminal case was initiated under the article "Fraud"”, - the agency's interlocutor said.

Earlier it was reported that swindlers in St. Petersburg deceived the general of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 613 thousand rubles.
