Two years without an answer - where did the coronavirus come from? Novye Izvestia give all versions

The global pandemic of covid-19 is already two years old. But so far, neither experts nor the special services of all countries have come to an unambiguous conclusion: where did the virus come from? Novye Izvestia has collected the largest possible number of versions and offers them to the thoughtful reader.

Pandemic

Igor Ognev

Here is what Vladimir Dedov, deputy director for scientific work of the Pasteur Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, says:

“If the virus is found only among people, then this is one story. If there is a focus of infection in nature, then sooner or later this virus may be carried back to people. We need to know where the drift is possible from, whether it is necessary to monitor this area, and so on".

WHO announced on August 12, 2021 that it is planning another series of in-depth studies to find out the origin of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The previous joint report of WHO and China on the results of the first phase of research was published in March this year. In order to move forward as soon as possible, WHO called on the governments of the participating countries to "depoliticize" the current situation around the coronavirus pandemic.

What is known today? As at the beginning of the pandemic, three versions are being discussed: the virus attacked humans from an animal; it appeared as a result of an unintentional leak from the laboratory; specially designed. But there is also a fourth version, which is not mentioned.

Those creepy mice in Wuhan's creepy market

Let's return to the "dangerous experiments", but for now let's get acquainted with Vladimir Dedkov from the Pasteur Research Institute - the only Russian epidemiologist who, as part of the WHO mission, visited Wuhan, China in January. And here are the details he told the St. Petersburg portal:

“Everyone had the basic idea that the epidemic started with the seafood market. But in reality, this is somewhat different: as we found out, in parallel with the market, approximately the same number of cases arose in other parts of the city, which are not epidemically connected with this market in any way. People never visited him, did not have relatives who visited him ... Accordingly, it is not very clear where the virus first appeared ... when and in what way it arose".

Dedkov visited the market in Wuhan together with other members of the mission. The market is municipal, small, small-scale wholesale. In addition to seafood, they sold meat, live pets and frozen imported products. The market was small: there were conditions for the spread of any infection. “According to our sanitary rules, there is a lot to find fault with. But, most likely, a person brought the virus there”, - Dedkov said.

According to the epidemiologist, the dialogue with the Chinese side was built exclusively in the plane of scientific discussions:

“We were presented with the data, we analyzed it together, communicated constructively, and conducted lengthy workshops. I have not seen any problems from the side of Chinese scientists".

As a result of the trip of the WHO mission, Dedkov said, four hypotheses were formed. These are animal-to-human transmission through an intermediate host (most likely), direct animal-to-human transmission (likely), frozen food transmission (unlikely), laboratory leakage (highly unlikely). These hypotheses are based on our knowledge of coronaviruses and their ecology. The fact is that in all previous outbreaks, it was the bat that was the primary source, and always through an intermediate host. For example, during the epidemic associated with the first SARS-CoV virus, the intermediate host was the civet (a genus of carnivorous mammals) during the epidemic caused by the MERS-CoV virus - the camel. It has never happened before that a virus can be transmitted directly from a bat: but this does not mean that this could not be.

In support of these hypotheses, four very closely related viruses have been identified in bats. But SARS-CoV-2 has not yet been detected in mice or other animals. So there is no direct confirmation of these two hypotheses yet, Dedkov concluded.

But then the expert reflected on the ways of transmission of the virus to the residents of Wuhan:

“Since there was an outbreak among traders, they could have contaminated these products. With a high degree of probability, we can say that we are talking about secondary contamination, and not about the fact that they are so profitable to the market. Based on the testimony of patients, the epidemic began earlier than officially stated. It went unnoticed until the market situation. The first laboratory-confirmed case occurred in a patient collected on December 10, 2019. But clinically confirmed cases based on symptomatology date back to early December. It cannot be ruled out that the diseases were still in mid-November. They just passed under the guise of ordinary pneumonia. Or maybe someone was asymptomatic at home. It is impossible to establish exactly when the first patient appeared. "

- Consider that our trip was zero, - concluded Dedkov. - Further research and other missions will be planned: there will be more than one or two. This is a long story.

Coronavirus as a "gift" from the wild

However, since January, fresh facts have appeared in favor of the version of the natural origin of the virus. In mid-September, a group of scientists from two universities - Pasteur of France and Laos - published a preprint on the platform of the authoritative journal Nature. It said that a long search in Southeast Asia for SARS-CoV-2-like viruses among Rhinolophus bats (horseshoe bats) may eventually lead to evidence of the natural origin of the COVID-19 virus. Scientists have discovered at least three coronaviruses with receptor-binding domains (RBDs) that are very similar in type to the same domains of SARS-CoV-2, which caused a pandemic at the end of 2019. These domains are parts of a protein that the coronavirus uses to bind to an enzyme in the human body and further infect cells.

It is noted that in areas with a dense population of horseshoe bats in southern China and Southeast Asia, about a thousand such infections can appear daily.

One of the authors of the study, a virologist at the University of Pasteur, Marc Elua , claims that the detected viruses are the most "closest ancestors" of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, identified to date: “These viruses may have contributed to the emergence of SARS-CoV-2 and may lead to the risk of direct transmission to humans in the future".

In October, RIA Novosti reported that the Swiss inventor of the hand sanitizer formula Didier Pitte suggested that COVID-19 could arise from a mutation of two closely related coronaviruses. The mutation, according to Pitte, appears due to the S-protein, with the help of which the virus clings to the epithelium in the mouth, nose and throat of a person.

"When we were able to restore the entire series of elements of various phases of changes in the S-protein, we see that at the beginning of these transformations there was definitely a genetic presence of two coronaviruses," the expert said. He believes that before the detection of the virus in Wuhan, something provoked a mutation The S-protein of the two coronaviruses in an intermediate carrier and allowed the virus to infect humans, as new mutations allow the S-protein to more easily adhere to human mucosa. "This is further evidence against the theory that COVID-19 was created in the laboratory", - Pitte said.

If independent experts - scientists believe that these two versions of biological mechanisms coincide - there is a chance to exclude others. Well, if they diverge, then there is scope for other interpretations. Let's talk about them.

Other versions are not at all the notorious universal chipping, which would allow the special services to track us day and night - they have had such an opportunity for a long time without chips. By the way, since 2018, the Swedes, for example, have massively implanted chips in their hands. Chips, which, by the way, can be easily removed from the hand, not only replace electronic wallets, but business cards and even intercom keys. Why are the Swedes not afraid of their special services? Because the level of trust in each other there, as in other Nordic countries, is 70%. And this fact also means that people trust their governments as well, since they vote for power without fraud and pressure. For comparison: in Russia, only 20% trust each other - with the corresponding consequences. Among them are obscurant plots from the Middle Ages.

Man is not the king of nature

Back to viruses. A year ago, Russian experts suspected that the devil had been released from the test tube - albeit unconsciously by people. Thus, Felix Ershov, Chief Researcher of the Institute named after Gamalei, said:

“It is unclear why the family of coronaviruses, which has been known for half a century and did not pose a danger, suddenly caused an epidemic of SARS and a corona-19 pandemic in the 21st century. Or something in nature has changed. Or someone took part. " However, Ershov did not suspect malicious intent: “My hypothesis is that man is to blame... he imagines himself to be the king of nature, and we are only a part of it ... New viruses always have to wait. Almost every year, an epidemic is recorded... With the help of antibiotics, bacteria were pushed back and viruses were unleashed. This is also a big problem".

Immunologist Vladislav Zhemchugov agreed with Ershov:

“…To moderate the infection, we created a virus using reverse genetics. It is used to work with animals, to work on vaccines ... "But" no "rivets", "welds" are visible on it to say that it is artificial..."

“Seriously speaking, the SARS-Cov-2 virus is of natural, natural origin, this is the forty-third type of coronavirus, the seventh is pathogenic for humans, all of them somehow passed to humans from bats through various intermediate hosts. This is also confirmed by the discovery in the last year of a closely related virus, which differs by only 1% in the genome from SARS-Cov-2, and, accordingly, such viruses may have common ancestors".

Damn from a test tube

It is curious that Mr. Maksyutov said this on August 30, 2021, and on April 14, 2021, a conversation between Dr. Richard M. Fleming and Professor David Clements appeared. Fleming in the United States is called the father of modern nuclear cardiology and nuclear medicine. In the conversation, he outlined the results of his investigation, which experts consider the most comprehensive.

So, Fleming believes that the coronavirus that caused the pandemic was created artificially. His main argument: there are three elements in SARS-CoV-2 RNA that are not found in any other studied coronavirus. Although neither me, nor readers who are far from medicine, the transcripts are incomprehensible, however, they are important for specialists, especially since colleagues from other countries have come to similar conclusions, as we will see below. So the first insert encodes glycoprotein-120 and contains a piece of RNA from HIV. The second is the sequence of 4 amino acids PRRA (proline-arginine-arginine-alanine). This insert is critical because it forms a furin cleavage site. Fleming says this amino acid sequence is found in rabies virus and cobra venom. It is extremely neurotoxic, which means it is extremely dangerous for the brain. Let me remind you that when opening the cranium of those killed by covid, pathologists often find porridge instead of the brain.

In addition, the presence of the structurally rigid amino acid proline in the PRRA insert is unusual. This causes the polybasic cleavage site of furin to protrude from the surrounding structure, forming a specific loop on the surface of the virus, which facilitates its access to enzymes and penetration of the virus into human cells.

Two insertions (repeating regions of the genomes of HIV and the rabies virus) lead to the formation of a prion-like domain in the spike protein that binds to the ACE2 receptor in human cells (which is not found in other coronaviruses) - this is the third change.

Fleming summarizes the history of research to enhance the infectiousness of coronaviruses. It turns out they started between 1999 and 2002, before the first SARS that caused SARS. And the US Department of Health financed them. On May 21, 2000, Professor Ralph Barick of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill reported and it was taped that he had reverse transcribed and obtained DNA from the SARS-CoV Urbani virus, that is, produced chimeric DNA. Moreover, with the help of Moloney's murine leukemia virus.

On April 19, 2002, Christopher Curtis, Boyd Young and Ralph Barick applied for a patent on DNA that produces an infectious but poorly replicable coronavirus (NIH grant GM632228). In 2002, work began in China to modify the virus of the first SARS, in particular on an increase in its infectivity. Already renowned Dr. Zhengli reported an insert coding for glycoprotein-120 (present in HIV) in SARS-CoV-1.

In 2003, Ralph Barick for grant No. AI23946-08 of the National Institute of Allergic and Infectious Diseases (led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, chief adviser to the US presidents on the fight against the pandemic), began work on chimeric coronaviruses, including increasing their pathogenicity. as well as by means of their detection and possible therapy.

In 2013, during the epidemic of MERS (Inflammatory Respiratory Disease) with a mortality rate of 30–40%, interferon-alpha in combination with ribavirin performed well in the treatment of rhesus monkeys. Even then, they understood: in order to avoid serious consequences, it is necessary to treat it in the early stages. However, this therapy did not have time to be tested in humans.

In 2013, in China, Dr. Zhengli isolated three coronaviruses with spike proteins containing the HKU4 protein. These coronaviruses could not enter human cells. In 2015, the same Dr. Zhengli in China introduced two mutations into this protein, which allowed these three types of coronaviruses to infect humans. She did not do it on her own initiative or even at the request of the CCP. The US National Institutes of Health provided funding for the research (grant # RO1A1089728 and RO1A1110700), Fleming said.

In 2015, an article was published in which Barik and Zhengli showed that they can create dangerous and infectious viruses - the same article in the journal Nature Medicine, which was abundantly cited at the beginning of the pandemic.

In November 2018, Zhengli gave a presentation at Shanghai University on the coronavirus and its species-to-species transmission. According to Fleming, the presentation has now been removed from the university's website. He added that in the summer of 2019, all the records in the computers of the Wuhan Institute of Virology were destroyed - months before the first known case of SARS-CoV-2 in September-October.

Research on coronavirus, including in China, was also funded, according to Fleming, by EcoHealth Alliance. This organization received from 2006 to 2020 from various US ministries more than $ 61 million, of which $ 39 million was allocated by the US Department of Defense. And the policy advisor to this environmental organization was and is Dr. David Franz, a retired colonel of the US Army, former commander of Fort Detrick (the main center of the US Army for the development of biological weapons). Fleming claims that, in addition to government grants, Barik and Zhengli's research was also funded by this "environmental" organization. Moreover, she herself was financed illegally for some time. For example, after the United States in 2017 allowed funding for research to increase the infectivity (increase the functionality) of viruses, the Ministry of Health created a commission to assess the possible risks of the proposed research. And based on the results, decide whether they should be financed.

However, the EcoHealthAlliance grant for research on bat coronaviruses in Asia, allocated by the Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases under the direction of Anthony Fauci, did not pass such an assessment: Fauci simply did not send it for review. The Wuhan Institute of Virology received $ 600,000 from this grant. A spokesman for the National Institutes of Health (USA) said the grant was not submitted to the commission because it did not include research to improve the functionality of the coronavirus. However, Richard Ebright, a professor of chemical biology at Rutgers University, believes that the research on "recombinant coronaviruses" announced in the grant is research into increased functionality.

And then it is even more interesting: the "independent" EcoHealthAlliance is headed by Peter Dashak. And he also headed the UN commission that investigated where the virus originated. This commission, as expected, came to the conclusion: a virus of natural origin. In a word, the organization that served as a gasket for financing work to strengthen the function of the coronavirus, having seen all the reports on its creation, looked for a virus in the wild and even found something remotely similar, only with an intermediate host has not yet worked, Fleming said.

The conclusion from all this Fleming makes this: studies to increase the danger of coronaviruses to humans (recall that a common cold is often caused by some kind of coronavirus) were carried out in the United States and in China with US money. Moreover, under the direct control of the US military (the head of Fort Detrick is quite serious) and after 2014 - in violation of US law.

Fleming went on to talk about when and how the virus could have escaped from the laboratory.

On July 31, 2019, the Frederick News-Post wrote about the suspension of research at the Fort Detrick biolaboratory due to the fact that wastewater is not completely disinfected. Officials assured there was no pathogen leak or health hazard. However, the New York Times wrote: the problems began earlier, and the inspection discovered the leak in June. When it was actually discovered is unknown.

These suspicious vapers...

And on August 23, 2019, the Illinois Ministry of Health (USA) reported that 22 people aged 17 to 38 years old were found within its borders, who were diagnosed with a respiratory disease - allegedly after using electronic cigarettes. Another 12 people are suspected: they had respiratory symptoms for several days or weeks before hospitalization, including coughing, shortness of breath and fatigue. Some experienced vomiting and diarrhea. The clinical picture is exactly the same as COVID-19 and is not like the flu and the common cold. As with covid, there is a cough without a runny nose. As with covid, the disease seems frivolous for 4–5 days, and then the condition worsens sharply. Also, all patients with coronavirus talk about powerlessness and many suffocate. The only thing that seems to differentiate this "vaper epidemic" from covid is the age of the cases. But since the source of the epidemic was considered electronic cigarettes, at the beginning of the epidemic, the elderly who died of alleged pneumonia, who did not smoke electronic cigarettes, could not be associated with it.

Relatives of the "vapers" did not report any symptoms of the disease in themselves. In a word, if it was an infectious disease, it was not particularly contagious. However, even at the peak of the pandemic, there could be one serious patient in the family, and the rest were asymptomatic.

Of the 2,668 "vapers" admitted to the hospital, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has data as of 2022 on which substances they used. And more than 600 people either flatly refused to report it, or ... what? Didn't smoke e-cigarettes!

As of February 18, 2020, Fleming found out, (when the first tests for COVID-19 were started in the US), the CDC received information about 2,807 cases of hospitalizations or deaths from "vaper disease" throughout the United States. Of these, 68 people - 2.4% of those admitted to hospitals - died, which does not contradict the version of COVID infection. The only thing that, according to Fleming, should be mentioned for completeness: the first such case, according to the CDC, was recorded at the end of March 2019, 5 cases in April, 8 in May. In June, a steady increase in the number of "vapers" diseases began.

But e-cigarettes, even with tetrahydrocannabinol, have been smoked in the United States for several years. If some particularly poisonous batch for smoking got into circulation, it is not clear why the number of cases grew gradually, as with infections, and not abruptly, as with poisonings, and in large groups where the poisonous batch was sold. According to the CDC, the epidemic peaked in mid-September 2019 and faded by February 2020. At the beginning of February, biomaterials of the patients were no longer taken for analysis.

And then Fleming notes the following. Among the sick "vapers", the CDC identified 4 groups: under 18 years old (15%), 18-24 years old (37%), 25-34 years old (24%), and 35 years and older (24%). The median age of the cases is 24 years, of the deaths - 49.5 years. This means that half of the deceased were from the group over 49 years old. With coronavirus, mortality is also higher in the older group. It is higher in this group and with flu, however, not by several orders of magnitude, as with coronavirus. In addition to the general symptoms, the "vapers" became ill suddenly, within a few minutes. Later, in February-March, relatives said how COVID-19 patients who felt better went for a walk and fell unconscious. Sometimes there were people nearby (then they had time to be sent to intensive care), but not everyone was so lucky. In July, the number of strangely sick "vapers" exceeded 200.

Then a flu epidemic broke out in the United States, and from October to February it killed about 20 thousand people. Since in the initial phase of the disease, coronavirus is often confused with influenza, it cannot be ruled out that some of these fatal cases could be caused by covid.

The right to assume this to Fleming is given by the discovery of the first cases of coronavirus in Italy and France in September-October 2019. It became clear after the fact, when they began to analyze the biological materials of those who died from pneumonia or were seriously ill with pneumonia of unknown origin.

In Italy, the first patient is considered a 4-year-old boy who was admitted to hospital in November with breathing problems and blemishes on the skin. Neither the boy nor his family have ever been to China. Antibodies to coronavirus were detected in blood samples taken from patients in Italy in September 2019.In France, radiologists in Colmar registered lung lesions characteristic of COVID-19 in the images of October 2019.

In Ukraine, in the Ternopil region, in December 2019, there was an outbreak of pneumonia with a high mortality rate, symptomatically very similar to the coronavirus. But there were no tests for covid in December.

There is also testimony from ordinary Americans who caught something very similar to coronavirus on Catholic Christmas 2019 in Israel, and in March they turned out to have antibodies that bind to the transferred coronavirus, although they did not get sick after that.

Each of these facts in itself does not prove anything, but all together, Fleming believes, give reason to say that the coronavirus was spread in Europe, the United States, Israel exactly in December, probably in November 2019, and possibly earlier.

They might not have noticed it because in New York, at the height of the first wave, many deaths were caused by blood clots and, as a result, strokes and heart attacks, which, before coronavirus hysteria in Europe and the United States, could not be associated with any viruses. Fleming also noted that the first identified carriers of the coronavirus in Europe had no visible ties with China.

At the same time, Americans, seeking to blame the leakage of coronavirus from a laboratory in China, say that employees of the Wuhan Institute of Virology were sick with coronavirus in August-September 2019, China does not confirm this. And in the United States during this period, hundreds of "vapers" were already sick.

It is also inexplicable that if the virus walked in Wuhan in September 2019, why did it not spread from such a transport hub to all of China by October, but ended up in Europe and the United States? Let's say China has hidden a huge epidemic in the country. But why in December the virus did not turn up in Southeast Asia, which has very close ties with China (and a large tourist flow), and with the United States - rather limited?

Thus, Fleming suggests: the first reported people with coronavirus were the same "vapers" in the United States, and the first case was diagnosed in March 2019. some kind of connection with Wuhan or with the American military, in particular with Fort Detrick. The incidence of "vapers" gradually increased and in June it was already such that it could not be neglected - 59 cases per month. And in all states at once.

The number of infections grew until September, and then the flu season in the United States made suspicious "vapers" to be forgotten.

"Smoking pistol"

Another fact led Fleming to suspect that the covid epidemic even arose in November 2019: a vaccine against some kind of Moderna coronavirus was sent to Professor Barik for testing "not in humans" in December 2019. Agreement on the transfer of a vaccine against coronavirus for further studies were concluded by the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the US Food and Drug Administration, and the University of North Carolina.

Axios journalist Bob Herman posted on documentcloud 5 of 153 pages of a secret package of agreements between the National Institute of Allergic and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Moderna to develop mRNA-based vaccines on the one hand, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on the other. The earliest signatures on this agreement were issued on December 12, 2019. The vaccine test plan in the document is closed for reading.

Of course, Fleming says, there is no evidence that this vaccine is specifically for the coronavirus that caused the pandemic. Only the testimony of Professor Barik or the developers from Moderna can prove this, and they will not say anything. However, it was Moderna who told Trump, when the question arose about the vaccine, that it would be a matter of a week to create one for the company, it only takes time to test on humans. So maybe they already had a vaccine?

Thus, to the facts that the coronavirus was created with US money and, possibly, in the US; that it first appeared, probably in the United States, vaccines for some kind of coronavirus are also added, which arose before the official announcement of the existence of the disease. A British citizen who had worked in the United States for a long time was put in to investigate the origin of the virus. Perhaps these are all coincidences, Fleming concludes carefully. Once again: Fleming's conversation with Professor Clements was made public on April 14, 2021. And on August 6, he publishes information from CNN that “the US special services somehow obtained the archive of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, in which there are 22 thousand viral sequences, that is, transcripts of the genome of various infections ... This information could be the key to the mystery of the origin of the coronavirus. "

South Korean TV channel Arirang News commented on CNN's information:

“Last month, senior Biden administration officials now see the laboratory leak as at least as likely a scenario as the natural origin of the virus, even though Democrats rejected the theory a year ago. At the end of May, the US President gave the intelligence services 90 days to investigate the origin of the virus. The timeline could be extended if Washington fails to find what CNN describes as a "smoking gun."

And right there - "for contrast" - a fresh report from the Chinese CGTN that "it's all the Americans are to blame." “One of the laboratories under suspicion is the Fort Detrick base in the United States. Many deadly viruses are stored there, including Ebola and anthrax, according to media reports. In July 2019, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) demanded that most of the work at Fort Detrick be halted due to a security threat. In the same month, an outbreak of a respiratory illness of unknown origin was recorded in neighboring Northern Virginia. The media announced it was an EVALI outbreak, which translates to “lung damage from e-cigarette use,” but in reality the symptoms are very similar to covid.

A petition calling for a WHO commission to be sent to Fort Detrick has already collected more than 19 million signatures in China. The Global Times newspaper, which published it, said that the publication's website had been subjected to cyberattacks from American IP addresses. Fort Detrick is also associated with the infamous Unit 731, the Imperial Japanese Army's biological weapons unit. Squad leader Shiro Ishii became a biological weapons consultant at Fort Detrick after the war”.

The WHO continues to consider a laboratory leak of the coronavirus an "extremely unlikely" scenario, albeit requiring further investigation.

As you can see, the facts are the same as those found by Fleming. Although the publications of English, Chinese and South Korean journalists appeared after Fleming's investigation, but in this case, after that does not mean as a consequence: there are no references to Fleming.

And finally, on November 1, RIA Novosti reported: the United States admitted that it had funded research at the Institute of Virology in Wuhan. In the text, along with the facts stated by Fleming, new ones appear. Here are just a few.

“In 2012, two groups of scientists from different countries, including the United States, independently genetically modified the H5N1 avian influenza virus. Such experiments in science are called gain-of-function research - the creation of new functions. There are great doubts about their ethics. On the one hand, it helps to develop new antiviral drugs, vaccines, manage dangerous epidemics, and on the other hand, there is a certain risk.

In 2014, after a number of incidents in the United States, gain-of-function research with influenza and coronaviruses was banned. At the same time, the National Institutes of Health NIH - America's largest organization, effectively the Department of Health - issued grants to the EcoHealth Alliance to fund the Institute of Virology in Wuhan.

EcoHealth is a non-governmental non-profit organization, heir to a fund established in the 1970s by British naturalist Gerald Darrell to preserve wildlife. Now among the projects is the search for infections potentially dangerous to humans and the prevention of epidemics. EcoHealth is chaired by British zoonotic infection expert Peter Dashak. Despite his apparent conflict of interest, he became the only US representative on the aforementioned WHO commission”.

By the way, the European Union also sponsored the Chinese Institute of Virology through the Horizon 2020 program. But there were delays in the report and the EU cut off funding.

Someone's fingers inherited?

Above, I mentioned that, in addition to Fleming, other researchers came to scientific arguments about the artificial origin of the coronavirus. In particular, the Englishman Angus Dalglish and the Norwegian Birger Sørensen . The results of the study were transmitted by the scientists to Quarterly Reviews of Biophysics, and the information was published in Russian by RBC on May 29 . Dalglish and Sørensen found "unique fingerprints" in the virus and evidence that it does not have a credible source. Therefore, scientists believe that the virus could appear only as a result of laboratory manipulations. According to them, they previously tried to publish the results of their research, but received rejections from scientific journals, confident in the natural origin of the virus.

Researchers drew attention to experiments again in the Wuhan laboratory from 2002 to 2019, and found that Chinese colleagues who worked with American universities modified the virus to make it more infectious. Dalglish and Sørensen believe that the "basis" was taken from the coronavirus found in Chinese cave bats and a new "spike" was added to it. The result is the more contagious and deadly SARS-CoV-2. The fact that manipulations could be carried out with the virus is indicated by a chain of four amino acids with a positive charge discovered by Dalglish and Sørensen ( see Fleming's arguments! - I.O.). This allows the virus "to cling tightly to negatively charged parts of human cells like a magnet, and thereby become more infectious," Sørensen explained.

“But like magnets, positively charged amino acids repel each other, so naturally occurring viruses rarely even contain chains of three [amino acids]. A chain of four is extremely unlikely, ”Sørensen said.

Some "suspicious" characteristics coronavirus points and Pascal Meylan, infectious diseases and professor emeritus at the University of Lausanne. This allows him to assume that the virus was actively worked to "make it almost an" ideal virus "for infecting humans".

Commenting on the findings of Dalglish and Sørensen, infectious disease specialist, Ph.D. Nikolay Malyshev, in a conversation with RBC, noted that there are a large number of viruses, including from the countries of Southeast Asia with a humid and warm climate. Under these conditions, "various changes in the RNA and DNA of the virus can actively occur, which leads to the emergence of some new pathogens." According to Malyshev, SARS-CoV-2 still has a natural origin.

But since US involvement in financing the manipulation of the virus in China is confirmed, a scandal erupted around Anthony Fauci, adviser to the country's presidents and chief infectious disease specialist. Members of Congress demanded his resignation for two reasons. First, for the cruel experiments on animals carried out by the institute headed by him. And secondly, due to the fact that the leadership of the US Department of Health has recognized the fact of experiments to create new varieties of coronavirus - although earlier Mr. Fauci rejected this, including in Congress. The scandals hit not only the doctor's image, but the entire US administration.

Of course, the very fact of international scientific cooperation can only be welcomed. But the result is important! Otherwise, the road can be paved with the best intentions to a planetary pandemic ...

However, the point about the origin of COVID-19 has not been set. On this account, there is another version.

Is the Earth Breathing Viruses?

Even if, over time, the artificial origin of covid is proved, this fact will leave the main question unanswered: where did the viruses come from in the same bats that scientists experimented with?

At the end of July 2021, information appeared that at the bottom of the world's deepest Mariinsky Trench, researchers from Shanghai removed sediments from a depth of almost 11,000 meters, in which they found a colony of mimiviruses. They were previously found in other parts of the planet, but it was here that due to the enormous pressure - 1100 times more than atmospheric pressure - they reached anomalous sizes. Common viruses are about a hundred times smaller than bacteria. The find amazed scientists, first of all, because complex life forms have hardly been encountered at such depths until now. Scientists note: in some cases, giant viruses can damage mammalian tissue, but so far there is no evidence of their danger to humans.

And one more thing: on September 13, previously closed information appeared on the Kola superdeep well . The well was drilled for scientific purposes in 1970. Scientists assumed that there are no sedimentary rocks on the Baltic Shield, and the oldest, more than 3 billion years old, lie close to the surface. It was expected that the temperature would not increase up to the mantle, but deeper than 7 km it began to rise to 70, 80, up to 100 ... And finally, by 10 km, it reached +200 degrees Celsius. Special top-secret equipment was melted. Drilling was stopped in 1995. But ... Live species of microorganisms were found on rock samples from depths of 8-10 kilometers. This is surprising, since Academician Vladimir Vernadsky in his major work "The Chemical Structure of the Earth's Biosphere" wrote that at a temperature of +100 gr. viruses do not exist in the bowels of the earth. And here - plus 200!

The fact that scientists are surprised at the finds both at the bottom of the Mariinsky Trench and in rock samples from the Kola superdeep face tells me that they are hardly familiar with the book of the French scientist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin "The Phenomenon of Man". (By the way, Academician Vernadsky referred to it several times in the aforementioned monograph.) Chardin has the following lines:

“The earth carried life in itself and, moreover, in a certain amount ... In water, in the air, in the deposited silt, ultramicroscopic grains of proteins densely cover the surface of the earth at kilometer depths ... if we realized that pre-life appears already in the atom, then why shouldn't these myriads of large molecules? ... "And after a few pages Chardin continues:" ... the molecular weights of some natural protein substances, such as " viruses " (I.O.), so mysteriously associated with infectious diseases of animals and plants, apparently must be counted in the millions. And although the particles that form these substances are much smaller than any bacteria, they are so small that so far no filter can stop them ... And it is very significant that if they cannot be mixed with a cell, then some of their properties (namely, the ability upon contact with living tissue) they already anticipate the properties of properly organized beings. "

Here Teilhard made a footnote: “After the viruses were seen with huge microscope magnifications as thin rods, asymmetrically active at their two ends, they were considered to be bacteria rather than 'molecules'. Moreover, paradoxically, viruses make up the mass of microscopic roots of the "deeply structural unity of the tree of life" that man crowns.

Teilhard came to this idea, it seems to me, because, being a philosopher and theologian, geologist, biologist, paleontologist, archaeologist and anthropologist, he systematically looked at the world and man.

To re-read Chardin I was prompted by the idea of Robert Bembel, professor at the Tyumen Industrial University, and, by the way, my old friend. Bembel is widely known in narrow circles for his ether-geosoliton concept (EKG), which I already wrote about in NI. Let me briefly remind you of the essence.

The plasma core of the Earth is constantly fed by the streams of the world ether; at a certain temperature and pressure, the core regularly shoots out streams (geosolitons) of gases - mainly hydrogen and helium; These vortices, rushing to the surface of the Earth, enter into reactions along the way with various chemical elements, forming hydrocarbons, diamonds and other minerals and arranging, among other things, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and other cataclysms. But - along the way, they carry out from the bowels of the earth into the lower layers of the atmosphere what interests us now: viruses.

A fantastic thought involuntarily suggests itself: we all initially hatched from a virus ?! Because, Teilhard writes, life spontaneously originated from prebiological organic compounds, the base of which is minerals, lower invertebrates, including those very viruses.

I apologize for the lengthy digression, but trying to track publications on the pandemic, I have not yet found links to Teilhard, and even more so to the version of Professor Bembel, behind which, according to him, a lot of facts accumulated by world researchers. Now imagine that the Bembel geosoliton, under enormous pressure, carries millions of viruses into the earth's atmosphere? Which then stick to the same bats and various sea creatures, which, among other things, find their way into the bowels of a Chinese mine and the Wuhan fish market. Is it possible? In any case, it is not devoid of logic.

But here the dilettante gives way to researchers.
