More than 70 inmates of a boarding school in Tuva hospitalized with poisoning

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the condition of the children is assessed as satisfactory.

Currently, quarantine has been declared on the territory of the institution.

Later, on his page in the social network "VKontakte", the head of the republic, Vladislav Khovalyg, clarified that the incident happened at the boarding school "Tuva Cadet Corps".

"25 children require increased attention of doctors", - said Khovalyg.

He also noted that an epidemiological investigation had begun, during which the reasons for the poisoning of children would be clarified, and those who committed gross violations and lack of control over the work of the boarding school would be held accountable.

It's worth reminding that at the end of last month, a 15-year-old student from Severodvinsk was taken to the hospital after a chemistry lesson. The girl inhaled the gas during a practical lesson on the production of hydrogen chloride.
