From December 20, 2021 to March 1, 2022, citizens over 60 years old in the Khabarovsk Territory will be paid two thousand rubles for vaccination against coronavirus.

According to the Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev, thus he decided to "support the older generation."

- I have made a decision: every resident of the Khabarovsk Territory over 60 years old to pay 2000 rubles after passing the vaccination course. This rule will be in effect from December 20 to March 1, 2022. The payment will be made by our social services to the MIR card or in other ways within two weeks after the second component is installed, '' Degtyarev said in his telegram channel.

He stated that the situation with covid in the region is still tense. The regional headquarters decided that unvaccinated citizens over 60 years old must go into self-isolation by the end of December. In the group of residents over 60, only 55.8% of people were vaccinated.

By the way, earlier in the region, the elderly were already encouraged for vaccination - this was in the spring, when before Easter, pensioners who came for the vaccination were given ten eggs each. The action caused a wide public outcry and a lot of ridicule on the network.

Recall that recently, Deputy Prime Minister and Plenipotentiary Yuri Trutnev criticized Degtyarev's work, pointing out that the Khabarovsk Territory is an outsider among the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District in terms of vaccination rates. It should be noted that the inhabitants of the region are actively opposed to compulsory vaccination. In addition, they continue to collect signatures against the introduction of the QR code system, claiming that this is a violation of the Constitution.
