The owner of the Listvyazhnaya mine was detained in the Kemerovo region

As reported by Iinterfax, referring to its source, "Fedyaev has been detained, investigative actions are being carried out with him."

The interlocutor of the agency also indicated that the general director of the SDS-Ugol company Gennay Alekseev and the technical director of the company Anton Yakutov were also detained.

What exactly is imputed to the detainees, the source did not specify.

Recall that after the tragedy at the mine, when 51 people died there on November 25, the Investigative Committee opened criminal cases under articles on violation of safety measures at the mine. Detained three managers of the mine, as well as two inspectors of Rostekhnadzor, who were checked at the mine the day before and did not find any violations.

Miners working at the enterprise who gave interviews to the media said that Listvyazhnaya's management systematically violated the requirements of Rostekhnadzor, and the miners were forced to work in conditions of high methane content. Some employees were offered money for working “into the gas”, others were threatened to close the descent into the mine.

At the same time, the inspectors of Rostekhnadzor, the workers said, arriving with the so-called checks, did not even enter the mine. The miners, on the other hand, feared sanctions from the management because of the appeals.
