According to parliamentarians, the final inflation in 2021 could reach 9%, which will negatively affect the income of senior citizens, who are burdened with additional expenses on gifts and holiday preparations on New Year's Eve.

The MPs propose to establish the proposed annual payment in the amount of the received pension. The source, according to the authors of the bill, may be the federal budget.

In 2022, the implementation of the initiative may require 786.2 billion rubles.
