Those who do not receive an exemption from vaccination for religious or medical reasons will go on vacation in April at their own expense.

Intel executives told employees last month that they must either receive a coronavirus vaccine by January 4 or provide proof of eligibility. Otherwise, starting April 4, they will be forced to go on unpaid leave. They will not be fired, but the forced leave will last for three months, AP reports. At the same time, the company will continue to provide medical benefits to unvaccinated employees on vacation.

Other tech giants have also taken measures requiring employees to get vaccinated. So, Google sends everyone who has not been vaccinated on vacation for 30 days, after which they are required to get vaccinated or provide a medical treatment. Otherwise, they will be fired or sent on vacation at their own expense. Meta and Microsoft are also demanding vaccinations, and Apple is demanding regular coronavirus tests.
