The Governor of the Primorsky Territory, Oleg Kozhemyako, promised to resolve the issue with the rise in housing prices in the region over the next three years. He intends to do this by increasing the volume of housing construction and infrastructure loans, as well as providing state employees with apartments.

It's worth reminding that earlier at a press conference of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a journalist from this region asked if the authorities were planning to somehow intervene in the rise in housing prices in the Far East. The price for a one-room apartment in the region has already exceeded eight million rubles, the journalist complained. The rise in housing prices was facilitated by a cheap Far Eastern mortgage.

"Together, these measures over the next two to three years should lead to a decrease or stabilization of housing prices", - the regional government's press service commented.

They added that the volume of housing construction in the region continues to increase. Over 600 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned last year. More than 800 thousand squares are planned to be commissioned this year. The plans for the next year to increase the volume of construction to one million, and by 2026 to build annually up to two million square meters.
