Professor Alexander Asmolov, at the request of the editors, sent a copy of his appeal regarding the study of a 9-year-old girl Alisa Teplyakova at Moscow State University.

Member of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, Vice-President of the Russian Society of Psychologists addressed the letter to the Chairman of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights under the President of the Russian Federation V.A. Fadeyev; Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation T.N. Moskalkova; The Commissioner for the Rights of the Child under the President of the Russian Federation M.A. Lvov - Belova:

"Dear colleagues!

Many years of professional experience in the field of research in the psychology of personality development, the design of state educational programs for children at risk, including diagnostic programs and psychological and pedagogical support for gifted children, prompts me to contact you with a request to take control of the dramatic situation with education in higher education 9 -year-old girl Alisa Teplyakova, which caused a wide public outcry.

From an expert point of view, this situation is nothing more than an untested experiment on the cognitive acceleration of a young child, which does not take into account the cognitive and personal patterns of development of children of this age group. There is a high probability that such a socio-pedagogical experiment may entail disturbances in the mental and psychophysiological development of Alisa Teplyakova.

In this regard, in order to ensure the psychological health of the child and a positive emotional climate in her family, to prevent the psycho-traumatic consequences of this experiment, to avoid the risks of bullying in the media of all participants in the educational process, as well as to comply with the Convention on the Rights of the Child, I ask you, colleagues, to leave a proposal to government bodies empowered to suspend a dangerous socio-psychological experiment in higher education young Alisa Teplyakova. "

Recall that a 9-year-old child prodigy successfully passed the exam in biology, mathematics, computer science and the Russian language, but was able to enter the Faculty of Psychology at Moscow State University only on a paid basis. Her parents announced the creation of an author's upbringing program.

Later , a petition appeared to the Children's Rights Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova, where the Russians asked the guardianship authorities to check the family of a nine-year-old girl who entered Moscow State University.

In October, it became known that the youngest student at Moscow State University could be expelled due to absenteeism. Later, a series of scandals followed between parents and representatives of the university, and at the end of December , Alisa Teplyakova's father attacked the head of the department during his daughter's exam.
