Most Russians are ready to spend about 10% of their monthly budget on New Year's celebrations.

According to RIA Novosti, referring to a study of the Webbankir online platform and the Unicom 24 financial marketplace, 50% of Russians are ready to spend 20-25 thousand rubles on New Year's preparations, 15% of respondents named amounts of 25-30 thousand rubles and more than 30 thousand rubles.

42.7% of survey participants intend to spend up to 10% of their monthly budget on celebrations and gifts. Another 31.4% of respondents are ready for big expenses - up to 25% of their monthly budget, for 12.4% of respondents, spending up to 35% is likely. 11% of Russians admitted that they are ready to spend up to 50% of the monthly budget on them. More than half of the budget is going to be spent by 2.5% of people.

About 70% of respondents indicated that they did not have enough money to cover all planned expenses . 45% are missing about 5 thousand rubles, 15% - 5-10 thousand rubles, 10% - over 10 thousand rubles.

At the same time, every tenth survey participant admitted that he would apply for a loan in order to cover all the expenses planned for the New Year. Over 70% of citizens will reduce their spending, 15% expect that the missing amount will be covered by the bonus they hope for. About 5% of Russians expect help from friends and relatives.

Earlier it became known that the Russians will increase their spending on the New Year by 20% . On average, the celebration will cost them 15.8 thousand rubles, VTsIOM reported.
