Every winter since 1989, the Icehotel has been opened in the Swedish village of Jukkasjärvi, 200 kilometers from the Arctic Circle, reports the Daily Mail.

This year it opened for the 32nd time. For a month and a half, 27 artists from all over the world created "luxury rooms". In doing so, they used 600 tons of ice and 10 Olympic pools "snays" - a mixture of snow and ice. The temperature inside the building is about -5 ° C, thanks to which the rooms are kept in perfect condition.

One of the suites is called Dickens Street. It allows you to plunge into a bygone era - walk along a London street from the time of Dickens, with its cobblestones, shops, mansions and pubs, artfully carved from ice. The Great Gatsby Suite features hexagonal interiors with Art Deco décor. The Room Service Suite is occupied by dinosaurs and monkeys, and migrating reindeer have gathered in the Blue Tundra.

The hotel offers various types of recreation: snowmobiling and dog sledding under the Northern Lights, ice sculpting, drinking cocktails from glasses made of ice. The hotel will be open until April 2022. all the details on the site.
