According to the autopsy results of 44 people who died from covid, scientists found that the infection spreads through the human body already in the initial stages of the disease and remains in the body for a long time. Elements of the RNA of the virus are found in many organs and tissues, including parts of the brain, even 230 days after the onset of the first symptoms.

"Scientists emphasized that there was practically no inflammation outside the lungs", - RBC reports.

In rare cases, covid can persist in the human body even for a year. However, such cases are not often recorded. As a rule, we are talking about patients with oncology and immune disorders.
