Pilot of Mi-2 crashed in Udmurtia dies

- Rescuers found a helicopter that made a hard landing with two people on board. Unfortunately, one crew member died, - wrote the head of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov.

According to the telegram channel Mash, the deceased pilot is Damir Gafurov. Hypothermia became the cause of his death. According to the Ministry of Health in the region, which leads TASS, the second survivor is currently in critical condition.

Previously it became known about the crash of the Mi-2 helicopter 80 km from Izhevsk near the village of Tchaikovsky. The message about the accident was confirmed by the Unified Duty Dispatch Service (UDDS). On board were 35-year-old pilot Gafurov and a representative of the Transneft Prikamye company.

During the flight, the car began to rotate, and he tried to align the course. As a result, the helicopter made a hard landing in the forest near Azino, after which the pilot informed the dispatcher about the accident.
