Chief Engineer of Listvyazhnaya Kuzbass Mine Still Stays in Detention center

The Kemerovo Regional Court upheld the decision of the lower instance on the arrest of the chief engineer of the Listvyazhnaya mine Anatoly Lobanov and the general director of the HC SDS-Ugol Gennady Alekseev.

Recall that Alekseev and the technical director of the Yakutov mine were arrested until January 25, 2022. On December 15, the head of the SDF Mikhail Fedyaev was also arrested until February 14, 2022. The defense decided to appeal against his arrest, but the day before the Kemerovo Regional Court upheld the decision of the instance.
Today the work of the Listvyazhnaya mine, where 51 people died as a result of the accident on 25 November, was suspended for 90 days.
