From January 2 in St. Petersburg, when visiting catering establishments, as well as non-food stores, you must present a QR code indicating that you have been vaccinated against covid or about a recent illness.

At the same time, the measure will not affect industrial canteens, restaurants and cafes on the territory of hotels (for guests), train stations and airports, pharmacies, gas stations, as well as stores selling essential non-food products. In stores without a sales floor, customers will also not have to present this document.

The presence of a QR-code or vaccination certificate will be checked at catering establishments at the entrance (first priority), when accepting an order (second priority) and when paying at the checkout (third priority), in stores - at the entrance (first priority) and when paying at the checkout (second priority), in shopping and entertainment complexes - at the entrance to the territory of internal shopping facilities.

As a reminder, on New Year's Eve, St. Petersburg restaurants were allowed to work without checking QR-codes.

Earlier it became known that QR-codes have been canceled for visiting public places in Crimea. The easing will last until January 20.
