Snowfall on the M-4 highway led to a collision of over 50 cars near Tula

An uncleared road contributed to the accident. The causes of the accident are now being investigated.

Six people were injured as a result of the accident, REN TV reports. As the newspaper notes, the cars that got into the accident were moving at low speed. Weather conditions did not allow to accelerate on the track.

RIA Novosti notes that the accident occurred on a toll road section.

Traffic is now blocked on the highway towards Moscow. A detour was organized for the cars.

For drivers and passengers, a mobile heating point will be organized at the scene of the accident, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Tula region specified.

In just a day, almost 120 cars collided as a result of an accident on five sections of the M-4 "Don" highway in a day in the Tula region. This was announced on Wednesday by the press service of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
