However, this measure raises a number of acute questions, the answers to which do not fit into the legal norms of interstate treaties.
“Events in Kazakhstan are developing with kaleidoscopic speed, and as usual - for the worse of all possible”, - notes one of the popular bloggers-analysts of LiveJournal, “free sociologist” Aleksey Roshchin. - The complete absurdity of what is happening cannot be analyzed. The main question is WHAT Should the Russian Federation beat people in Kazakhstan? If the "EurAsEC" participants have a military alliance, then has Kazakhstan been attacked from the outside?
It turns out funny: when the Armenian enclave was attacked last year, literally, by military force, Russia chose to withdraw itself; and when in Kazakhstan there is a purely internal showdown - will we intervene? Where is the logic?
And - the most sensitive question: Tokayev, distraught with fear, calls on his "allies" from the Russian Federation and Belarus to "help with troops" against his own citizens. Ok, but what does Kazakhstan have with its own army? Doesn't it exist ?!
Obviously, when answering this question, the Kazakh pomaded leaders begin to crumple and crumple, but the essence is roughly clear: the army, they say, is, BUT ... That is, the army is either not ready to shoot at its own people, or is "not entirely reliable" at all.
If the latter, then, objectively speaking, it turns out that the Russians are invited to take part in an interesting massacre not only FOR the Kazakh military, but, possibly, also AGAINST them.
To put it even easier, Tokayev, without thinking twice, invites Russia to take part in the Kazakh Civil War, which is about to begin there. This is something that a normal politician cannot do, nothing at all. Participating in someone else's civil, you inevitably get the hatred of ALL parties to the conflict, this is an axiom. It will simply mean to defile the image of Russia and Russians in general for the next 50 years. And, most importantly, WHY ??
The Russian Federation has already got into this in Ukraine - it is natural that everyone there hates us now - both in the Donbass and in Kiev: the former for having “betrayed” and not helping enough, the latter for “betraying” and helping in general. But in Ukraine, at least it was smart enough not to get involved officially, just as Russia and the Russian army did with the supply of weapons and volunteers. And then - OFFICIALLY !! .. To get greedy - so greedy!
Here, after all, one must also clearly understand that "acting harshly" in any case will not work - neither for Tokayev, nor for Putin. The Russian Federation is a colossus with feet of clay; in Kazakhstan, among other things, they will simply choke us out. I will not give a broken penny for the Russian "punitive power". Putin was saved all this time by the fact that he did not go anywhere OFFICIALLY. UPD.
Alas, optimism is misplaced. Judging by the fact that a preparatory PR-campaign is already in full swing on our radio and TV, describing what "byaki" the rebels are and how they are all terribly raging there - there is no chance".
