About 1,500 Russians were evacuated from Kazakhstan

On the eve it became known that 1,600 Russians have registered for export flights. The flights are organized by military transport aircraft of the RF Ministry of Defense for Russian citizens who are in the Almaty region. The planes take off from the Almaty airport and follow the routes Alma-Ata - Ivanovo and Alma-Ata - Orenburg.

Recall that in the first days of 2022, protests began in Kazakhstan. The reason was the double the rise prices for liquefied gas at filling stations. Later dissatisfaction of citizens spilled over on the streets of many cities. There were armed people among the protesters, bloodshed, assaults and arson of administrative buildings began.

Until January 19, a state of emergency was introduced in the country, the liberation of administrative centers from marauders continues. At the same time, over 60 people violated the special regime in Nur-Sultan.

President of the Republic Kassym-Jomart Tokayev dissolved the government, lowered fuel prices and dismissed the head of the Security Council - the former president of the country, Nursultan Nazarbayev.

During the riots, the police detained almost six thousand people and opened 125 criminal cases. The press service of the country's President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev noted that there are many foreigners among the detainees.
