On Lake Furnas, located in the southeastern part of Brazil, a rock collapsed on pleasure boats with tourists gazing at the waterfall.
According to preliminary data, as a result of the incident, 7 people were killed, three were missing, 32 were injured, of which 9 were seriously injured.
According to eyewitnesses, tourists on several pleasure boats examined the waterfall on Lake Furnash. Suddenly, a large fragment separated from the rock and fell on the tourists. One of the boats was hit directly. The moment the rock collapsed was captured on video.
As reported by "Podyem", the collapse could have been caused by heavy rains in the region. Rescuers continue to work at the site.
