From Monday, January 10, in small non-food stores in the Trans-Baikal Territory, it is necessary to present a QR-code indicating vaccination or previous coronavirus. The same rule now applies to the entrance to shopping and entertainment centers.

According to Deputy Prime Minister of the Trans-Baikal Territory, Minister of Economic Development Alexander Bardaleyev, residents of the region who do not have a QR-code will be able to "freely visit pharmacies and grocery stores", with the exception of those located in shopping centers.

As of Monday, January 10, 83 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the region. In total, more than 97 thousand of them were recorded.

Note that before the New Year, the regional government decided to extend the restrictive measures on covid until January 15. So, catering establishments can only work until 23:00, entering a cafe and restaurant is possible only by a QR-code. Mass business events are allowed only remotely, with the exception of those where all participants have a vaccination certificate or a QR-code.

As a reminder, since January 2, in St. Petersburg, when visiting public catering establishments, as well as non-food stores, it is necessary to present a QR-code, however, on New Year's Eve, St. Petersburg restaurants were allowed to work without checking QR-codes.
