In the Altai Territory, unknown persons killed 53 horses. This was announced by the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Andrey Podolyan.
The ministry said in a statement that on January 9, a resident of the Alekseevka village of the Petropavlovsk district turned to the police. He stated that 53 horses belonging to him had been shot. Writes about this RT .
The circumstances of the case are now being established. A criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
It is known that among the dead horses were mares with foals and individuals not yet foaled. The bodies of animals were found between the villages of Kamyshenka and Solonovka. The horses were in free grazing and obtained their own food.
