Israel will start paying for quarantine for private entrepreneurs

So, "atzmaim" will receive a refund for three days of quarantine, starting from July 1 of last year, at 430 shekels (approximately 2.35 thousand rubles). At the same time, those freelancers who were quarantined in January will receive compensation in four days.

The department indicated that such a payment scheme would cost the budget 200-250 million shekels (1.1 billion - 1.4 billion rubles).

Recall that in March 2020, the Israeli government has already announced support for entrepreneurs who have suffered due to the introduction of anti-coronavirus measures. Then the Minister of Economy of the country Eli Cohen announced the cancellation of "arnones" - a municipal tax for business, and also indicated that he would take care of unemployment payments for the "atzmaim" who were left without employment.
