One person died and one was injured in a fire in the capital's restaurant

According to TASS with reference to a representative of emergency services, in an extension to the residential building where the institution was located, furniture on an area of 50 square meters caught fire.

“The fire occurred in a two-story restaurant attached to a residential building on Shelepikhinskaya Embankment, 34k1. A dead woman was found in one of the premises, ”the message says.

One of the victims, who worked at the restaurant as a security guard, managed to leave the burning building on his own. At the same time, the security guard was injured and was hospitalized.

By half past five in the morning, firefighters managed to eliminate open burning.

According to RIA Novosti with reference to the data of the prosecutor's office, the security forces began an investigation into the incident in the restaurant. According to preliminary data, the restaurant's chef died in the fire.

During the audit, the prosecutors will establish all the circumstances and reasons for what happened, assess the fulfillment of the requirements of federal legislation and, if there are grounds, take prosecutorial response measures, ”the report says.
