Shock wave from an underground volcano: why pressure in Moscow jumped extremely

17 января 2022, 15:12
The reason for the anomalous increase and decrease in atmospheric pressure on January 15 and 16 in Moscow was the eruption of an underwater volcano on the other side of the earth

Network analyst Alexey Nadezhin recorded an anomalous surge and decline in air pressure in Moscow at 21:23 on January 15 on his sensor. It turned out that the cause of this phenomenon is the eruption of the Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Khapaai underwater volcano on the territory of the Pacific island kingdom of Tonga.

Later, at 5:22 a.m. on January 16, another burst from the blast wave was recorded on the sensor on the "People's Monitoring", on the narodmon website - this is where enthusiasts post data from their sensors.

The same fluctuation is on other sensors around Moscow. If we compare all the readings, it turns out that the wave swept from east to west.

In the video, you can see two shock waves, both of them reached Moscow at different times - one in the evening, the other in the morning. This is such a small, it turns out, our Earth...
