Opora Rossii applied to the Ministry of Economy with a request to write off loans issued under the payroll 3.0 concessional lending program to companies that retained 90% of their jobs.

The corresponding appeal was sent in a letter by the head of the organization, Alexander Kalinin, to the head of the department, Maxim Reshetnikov, TASS reports.

Opora Rossii expressed concerns that companies committed to maintaining 90% of jobs under the program could face "adverse economic consequences" due to the worsening situation with the covid pandemic. Kalinin elaborates that this could also affect the business's ability to "fulfill social obligations along with the obligation to repay the loan."

It's worth reminding that in the fall of last year, the program of concessional lending "FOT 3.0" decided to expand. Dentists, dry cleaners, hairdressers and beauty salons, additional education, repair, and childcare services were supposed to fall under it.
