Moscow residents have stopped taking repeated PCR-tests for coronavirus to confirm recovery. Those who are ill will be removed from quarantine automatically.

It is reported "RIA Novosti" with reference to several clinics and a call center.

In one of the call centers, the publication noted that repeated PCR -tests had ceased to be taken since January 24. Prior to this, the tests were taken on the 10-11th day after infection.

The publication sent a request to the country's health department, but has not yet received a response.

Earlier, the city health department explained that doctors would only come to the homes of those patients who themselves could not reach the clinic. Doctors switched to such a system of work after the workload on doctors seriously increased in a new wave of a pandemic with a record number of cases. Over the past 24 hours, another 26.9 thousand new cases of the disease have been detected in Moscow. A day earlier, the capital confirmed 23.7 thousand new cases.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said earlier that by the end of the week the capital would reach a plateau in this disease. After that, it is calculated that the epidemic will decline.
